Arrival to Zermatt

If you arrive by car, please park in Täsch, the village before Zermatt. There you will have two options: either park your car in the public parking situated in the train station that links Zermatt by train within 12 minutes every 20 minutes. Or park in one of the private parkings along the main road. These are proposing private mini bus shuttles to Zermatt. Very convenient if you arrive late at night.

For air travellers, we can arrange private car transfers from the airport to the Chalet on request. Otherwise, take the train directly from the airport and reach Zermatt in 3½ hours from Zurich-Kloten and in 4 hours from Geneva-Cointrin. Change trains in Visp.

Alternative: taxis, helicopter (Air Zermatt), Glacier Express.

Location of Chalet Altesse:

The Chalet is situated in the upper part of Winkelmatten, a quiet residential area of Zermatt. A great kids playground, a few restaurant and a grocery store are situated within five minutes walk from the Chalet.

The location will be appreciated by guests looking for a ski-in ski-out Chalet and proximity to a natural environement.

The Chalet is located approximately within 15 minutes walk to the town centre. The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, ski rental shop and Stoked kids ski school pickup, can be reached within a 7 minutes walk or by bus within 3 minutes (bus stop is located 300 meters away from the Chalet).
