Payment and deposit policy of Chalet Altesse:

Please note our booking and payment policies, which you already signed during your booking process:

• You have to pay a deposit of 30% of the total booking price within 10 days after you have received this confirmation email. This deposit is non-refundable upon a later cancellation of 90 days in prior to your arrival. 

• You need to pay the rest of your total booking price up to 45 days before your arrival day in Zermatt.

• 30% of the rental amount will be charged to your credit card after your booking. If you prefer to make the deposit by bank transfer, please transfer it in Swiss Francs including transfer fees to the following bank account of Credit Suisse Bank in Zermatt, and confirm this payment request by email:

Please indicate as payment reference always your booking reference number from your booking confirmation!

• For the case, that we do not receive your deposit payment by wire transfer within the required 10 days after receiving this confirmation email, we have the right to rent the apartment to another party without further notice and without liability towards the previous reservation confirmation. You have confirmed these rental conditions, already during your online booking through our website.

• As soon, as we will receive your deposit payment, we will provide you with the final booking confirmation for the reserved apartment. 

Please note our cancellation policy at the Chalet Altesse in Zermatt: 

• 90 days prior to arrival: free of charge
• 90 - 45 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount
• 44 - 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking amount
• early departure during the stay: 100% of the total booking amount

If however another tenant can be found for the same rental period in question, a full refund will be made.

Anyway, we will apply on cancellations an administrative fee of CHF 100. 

We recommend that you take advantage of a cancellation insurance. We can provide to you the following offer:

• We can take out a cancellation insurance contract for your stay at the Chalet Altesse in Zermatt.
• The costs for the cancellation insurance will be 3.75% of {total_price}.
• If you request us to book such a cancellation insurance for you, please email us (holidays@altesse.ch) to order the insurance. 
• Please do not forget to add the insurance amount on top of your deposit payment. 

Please take note of our general conditions for renting an apartment at the Chalet Altesse in Zermatt. You will find our rental conditions on demand by e-mail. Please read them carefully, and note, that we accept hosting of animals only on a bespoke basis.
